We are ordinary people from many walks of life; united in our faith in God, the creator of all things whom by his grace has done an extraordinary thing in human history – as prophesied by his prophets in the holy scriptures, about his son Jesus the Christ, who walked this earth as king David’s descendant, and was declared to be the Son of God with power through the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead – Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all peoples. We believe wholeheartedly in the words of the apostle Paul to the church in Rome.
We identify ourselves as Christians only. We have no earthly head or headquarters and are part of no organisation. We are under the authority of Jesus Christ and by His words in the holy scriptures. We strive to practice our faith with the simplicity and sincerity that we read about in the New Testament. We call ourselves a church of Christ because it denotes our desire to belong to none other than Christ.
We exist as a church here in Germany because of a passionate need to bring the good news of God to all peoples. We hope and pray God will be with us and use us as we seek the peace of this city and pray for its welfare.
